Squash

Most squash need a long warm growing season with plenty of sunlight and a fertile well-drained soil. Squash seed is very prone to rotting in cool and/or wet conditions, try keeping soil just moist. If starting indoors use deep pots so as to not disturb root system when transplanting. Sow seeds 0.5 to 1 inch deep thin to 24-36 inches apart.
