Chicory - Radicchio Variegata Di Chioggia


Produces large, tightly held heads which become crimson red when ripe, with wide white ribs and spreading veins. Similar to the smaller ball-type radicchio, but with a bit larger head. Seeds/package: 2000-2500. Untreated

Sowing instructions: Sow seeds 0.5 inches deep from April-July. Transplant seedlings at 3-4 leaf stage from July-August spacing them 10-14 inches apart and spacing rows 18-24 inches apart. Harvest from September- November.

Maturity: 75 days Open-pollinated Heirloom
