Squash Gialla di Napoli


This is a terrific heirloom butternut squash substitute. Though shaped like a butternut it has a green- grey exterior and sweet supple orange flesh. Grows larger than butternuts at 15 to 40 lbs on average. Not overly watery like some squash, and has a fine delicate flavour. Seeds/ package 15-20

Sowing instructions: Plant seeds 0.5 inches deep indoors from February-April. Transplant seedlings outdoors from May-June spacing them 24-36 inches apart in rows spaced 36 inches apart. Harvest from August-September.

Maturity: 90 days Open-pollinated Heirloom
