Description:

Bushy plant originally from the Mediterranean which can reach a height of 100cm . It is a rugged plant, it can adapt to poor soil conditions. Resists very high temperatures and drought thanks to its deep root system. In spring and summer it produces numerous pink and white scented flowers. Their very popular flower buds are left to pickle and are then used in cooking.

Sowing Instructions :

Sow seeds directly outdoors in a Sunny site with average soil in mid-to-late May. Plant seeds 3 mm (1/8″) deep and 2.5 cm (1″) apart. Thin seedlings to 30 cm (12″) apart. Seed can also be started indoors in a soil-less medium 4-6 weeks before last frost date. Keep temperature at 20 C (70 F) for the 7-10 day germination period then grow on at a slightly cooler temperature before hardening off and planting out after the danger of frost has passed.
