Kohlrabi prefers mild to cool temperatures, in warm climates can be grown in spring and fall. Directly sow seeds in soil 20-22C as soon as soil can be worked or sow indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost. Sow 0.3 inches deep and 1 inch apart in rows 12-16 inches wide. Mild to cool temperatures with consistent moisture and a fertile soil will produce the best results.
